Our love story began in the hallways of Faith Academy in Canaanland, Ota, where we were just two secondary school students in 2011, unaware we were meeting our future spouse. What started as shared classes and inside jokes blossomed into a beautiful friendship, and by 2015, our hearts knew it was something more.

Life then took us on different paths - Somto to Covenant University, and Doyin to Babcock University. After our time in school, Doyin was ready to further her education and moved to the US and Somto to the UK, but distance only made our love grow stronger. Through late-night calls, heartfelt messages, and precious visits, we nurtured a bond that spanned continents. We celebrated each other's victories, supported dreams, and became each other's constant in a world of change.

In December 2023, under the twinkling holiday lights, Somto got down on one knee and asked Doyin to be his wife, beginning the next beautiful chapter of our journey together.
